I have the CFE+Humanis package and while the CFE reimburses very quickly, Humanis is infinitely slow. 4 months on average to get a reimbursement. For large sums of money, it's complicated. Moreover, the interface for tracking reimbursements is not at all clear, so it's very complicated to track.
Their coverage is excellent, but 1) their customer service is very poor. They take hours to respond to emails and you have to follow up several times. Thank you for your email. Concerned about the quality of service provided by the insurers we refer, we asked your insurer about the management of your files. They acknowledged that at the end of 2021, the covid crisis combined with a high level of activity had led to abnormal management delays. The covid situation is now normalizing and recent hires are resulting in faster response times. Concerning the refused reimbursements, they reminded us that you had chosen a formula with a 250 deductible and that the reimbursement you had requested was just at the level of this deductible. It was therefore normal that this first reimbursement was zero. The next reimbursement requests will no longer be reduced due to the deductible. Finally, we identified with this insurer some management rules that could generate requests for additional information that were difficult to provide after the fact. Their management has recognized that improvements could be made to make these procedures more fluid and we are currently working with them on the development of new documents that will allow for rapid improvement. An insurer who listens to my needs, and a search for the best prices corresponding to my expectations. Easy and fast reimbursement. No problem for several years.
The covers given by the insurer are respected. An application exists to make the claims. This makes the process easier. However, the application could be improved in terms of speed, tracking of ongoing claims and reliability. 2 years ago claims were processed in a few days. Now it can take a few weeks and I even have to restart my applications by myself in order to make sure of the refund.
Application a little bit useless, which could be much more ergonomic and could allow to really make a follow-up of the requests and refunds (today, is only used to take a picture and send the image by email...having to send the email directly)
